The hotel is well located, it is clean and the staff is...

The hotel is well located, it is clean and the staff is friendly. We like the fact that it is super close to the airport so we don't need additional transport.

that they did not informed in advance that they were doing a work and the noise was very strong that did not allowed us to rest, and it was continuously. We arrived early and we could not check in because it was schedule at 3pm, which we understood but by the time we were back at the hotel we could not rest.

Fantastic staff - comfortable stay

The best thing about the property are the staff without question - they were all welcoming and accommodating from the moment we stepped into the property. There wasn't anything we asked them that they weren't able to assist with. The rooms and bathroom are maintained to a high cleaning standard. A fantastic place to stay if you are going to or coming from the airport. We stayed for a little longer though and although, a little way from the centre of Cartagena - we appreciated the quiet at night time.

As I have mentioned, the location of the hotel is a little far out from Cartagena centre - however, there are lots of yellow cabs going by constantly so you can be down in the centre in less than 15 minutes. I think the room would benefit from some type of ventilation as it can smell a little musky at times.

Very good

Staff very cordial & helpful.

Everything was fine. Due to its proximity to the historical areas of Cartagena (& the airport) I might even opt to stay here (again) in lieu of staying in the tourist areas of Cartagena Veijo, Getsemani etc.

Perfect for night before airport

We stayed for one night before our morning flight from Cartagena, it couldn’t have been better placed. We were able to walk to the terminal from the hotel without breaking (much) of a sweat. Super clean rooms, great air con, really good shower and wonderfully comfortable beds, couldn’t fault it.

Great staff, clean shared bathroom.

The staff was really friendly. We took a room with a shared bathroom. Usually in other hotels/hostels shared bathroom is dirty or wet - but not in this hotel. After every use, the staff cleaned and wiped the bathroom which made us feel comfortable.

Our room didn´t have windows outside.

This is a great small hotel just minutes from the airport.

This is a great small hotel just minutes from the airport...though you hardly ever hear a plane , there is absolutely NO street noise. This place is spotlessly clean, very safe and secure. The owners Ingrid and Edwardo are a wonderful welcoming couple. Very, very helpful and kind. I could go on and on but needless to say they are the best hosts one could ask for. This goes as well for all the staff, after one day it felt like home A taxi to the old town is only 8,000 pesos and in my opinion a small price to pay for the quiet solitude of the hotel. Everything you need is just around the corner, grocery store, pharmacy, fast food and a few really good restaurants. Only to get the exercise, we walked into town several times... takes almost an hour, but most of it is along the beach. We will be back.

Great value and owner goes out of her way to help

Although we had not included breakfast the host always arranged coffee before we went out and also a bowl of fruit on the last day we stayed

Room a little small but great value and so near the airport which is what we wanted for this stay

Great experience/ Best staff

Cozy hotel, good facilities and great staff. Food is really good and price is fair. Staff is fantastic, always aware of everything you need. Definitely recommend Manglar 421!
